The border town of Mosquitos lives the death throes of the dictatorship when two close friends, Milo and Esnal, resolve to mock the flammable local colonel by kidnapping their most treasured possession (a collection of garden dwarves) and vociferating a local libertarian proclamation. The adventure goes badly and the consequences fall with cruelty on the life of both: of one will be lost all trace and the other will close to suffer. The young daughters of Milo, Beatriz and Anita Striga, will do everything possible to find the father’s whereabouts and awaken Esnal from lethargy. When they do, Esnal devises a strategy to find Milo: an extraordinary story, which recounts the adventures of improbable characters and praises the Striga family; an intimate epic, capable of forever twisting the course of History; the B side of Universal History.
